New Bridge for Village in Pakistan
Donation protected
We are trying to raise money for the construction of a new bridge in Pakistan.
As there is no bridge by this river, the villagers who can't afford any transport are unable to access the other bridges miles away. This means the people who live in the surrounding villages cannot cross the other side and the river becomes very dangerous once it begins to rain heavily.
Ever year many young men and women actually lose their lives because they have fallen into the river and drowned, whilst attempting to cross.
We hope that by building this bridge, we can make it easier for the village people and put an end to their childrens lives being lost.
The government of Punjab is willing to give us a grant of 60% of the overall costs, once we have raised 40% (£40,000).
Please help us in our fund-raise by donating whatever you can!
Thank you!
