Path to Pro

Hi everybody,
My name is Hector Martinez and I’m a local soccer player from Bakersfield, CA. I’ve been playing soccer ever since l was a little boy and it’s always been a dream of mine to play at the professional level. l started from the bottom working my way up through the levels of soccer. Through all the sacrifices, hardships and obstacles that were thrown at me l am finally in a position in my life where l have an opportunity to become a professional. I’m very humbled for the position I’m in, from going to play in New York then getting invited to a professional combine in LA to see if l could play in Europe while being evaluated by top professional coaches in a 3 day trial. l was one of the few that got invited to Europe to be seen by professional European soccer leagues to ultimately sign a contract into a team. This trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity that is not handed to just anyone, however it is not cheap and im reaching out to my family, friends, and community for your support. Any little bit will help. I only hope to make everyone proud. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
