Patrick Henry Village Refugee Fund
Donation protected
We are students from various colleges in the United States that are studying abroad in Heidelberg, Germany. We decided to volunteer at Patrick Henry Village, a refugee camp for people seeing asylum coming from instable home countries. Specifically, we work in a program called Kids at Play where we teach children skills such as langauage, math, and German culture. After leaving their home countries, many of the kids do not get to complete their education. As members of Kids at Play, we provide a space for these kids to learn, have fun, and flourish in a safe environment. From our initial visit at the camp, we realized that there is need for additional resources to help educate and provide a valuable experience for the children. The funds that we acquire will go directly to the children of Patrick Henry Village in the form of school supplies, living necessities, and food. As college students, it is difficult to provide care to the best of our abilities without outside help. Any contribution you make will be much appreciated by us and the children of Kids at Play.
