Patty Hernandez Stroke Recovery

On February 13th 2018, a few minutes after waking up from a nap Patty suffered a stroke. 40% of her right brain hemishere was affected.  All who know Patty would agree this was the last thing expected. She is the definition of strength in body, mind & spirit.

   Patty is a ,young 48, beautiful wife. Mother to a great teenage son. A cherished sister. A hard working entreprenuer. A lover of animals. She loves dancing, riding her motorcycle & playing guitar. She's an advid Crossfit athlete and a advocate for all things promoting healthy living. A truly inspiring woman of integrity.
Now the loss of ability to do many of the things she loves has dramatically changed her life.


Patty being self employed has lost her income. During the hospital stay the rehab staff strongly recommended upon hospital discharge, she be moved directly to an Intensive In-patient rehabilitation/therapy program. That was not possible since Patty does not have health insurance. Lack of finances has kept her from any rehabilitaion, Neurolgy or Vascular specialist visits that she urgently needs. The doctors tell me it's crucial that she have follow treatments & rehab immediatly. Precious time has been lots.
