Paul Bennett (In Memory)

Paul Bennett, was a wonderful & generous man, who would always have a smile and a positive word to say to lift your spirits or make you laugh.
He always wore a smiled and was always a pleasure to work with and when you saw he was one of the nurses on you thought, tonight’s going to be a good night! This is how I will remember my co-worker and friend Paul.
I knew Paul when he first met his wife, and I saw their love grow and how much they were meant to be and how devoted they were to each other...you only see love like me that in fairy tales...with that kind of love & devotion.
Over time, I unfortunately lost touch with Paul and his wife ( for privacy, for now I won’t disclose her name), as in nursing, we go onto to new jobs and different hospitals, but our collegues are always friends & in our hearts. We go thru things that most professions don’t go thru, deep in the trenches & that bonds you for life. I am deeply shocked and saddened by Paul’s sudden & tragic death and I want to help him when I know he would need it most. That’s to help his wife & two young boys!
Paul had a mission and wanted to be a nursing manager, and he did it ...his hard work & dedication to our calling had him managing the OR at Peace Arch Hospital. I know he will greatly be missed by all the staff and all his colleagues because really good managers, well they don’t make them as good as Paul! They broke the mold!!
I want to give his friends, colleagues, other HCP, allied staff and the community a chance to honour Paul. And help his family when they are going to need it most ...if this tragedy can happen to a wonderful man, father, husband, son, brother and family guy such as Paul. It surely can happen to anyone of us at any given moment in time.
-Please help Paul and give back to a nurse, who gave so much to our communities ( Peace Arch & VGH) in his many years of nursing.
-To a hockey coach, who thought to volunteer his time and step up to help kids. Teaching them about sportsmanship, the love of hockey and pride of giving it all that you got, win or lose!
-To a husband & father father who left this world way to soon and a family who is in sudden grief and shock and that can use our love & support right now.
Your Generosity & contribution would be greatly appreciated. All money raised will go directly to the Bennett Family.
Please help & share this campaign.
Regards,
Tammy Larson
