Paul Daniels

My youngest step son, Gary, has created this fund on behalf of the family. 

I recently tweeted how I wished I could answer all your wonderful messages of support individually but there are so many.  They have all been greatly appreciated, and both Paul and I had no idea how people felt, it has been truly amazing the outpouring of support.

We have have already received so many messages offering help or donations to chosen charities.  Certain magicians have also offered to deliver shows and donate the ticket sales to a charity of our choice too, hence the creation of this page.

We discussed and settled on using "gofundme" as it allows the monies raised to be split across our four chosen charities:
1. Brain Tumour Research.Org - whom exist to seek further research into brain tumours, their cause and hopefully their cure one day.
2. Royal Berks Charity - as they have supported, and continue to support, Paul and I fantastically throughout his illness.
3. Grand Order of Water Rats - a fantastic organisation who have helped thousands of individuals and organisations over the years.  Paul himself was King Rat for two consequtive years and as such has close personal links with their fund too.
4. Royal Theatrical Fund - whose aim is the relief of any person in need who has professionally practised or contributed to the theatrical arts.  Be it on stage, radio, films or television or any other medium by which such arts may be presented in the future.

These charities mean a great deal to Paul, myself and our family.  We all hope that through this sad time the fund raised go towards providing help to others.
