Paying a tribute to Mikel Bell.

Mikel left us early morning, March 10th. Though he isn’t physically present, he has left plenty of memories that encapsulate his presence. Mikel had an engaging personality & drive that made him so compatible. We are gripped with a range of emotions, the sadness over the loss of someone so gifted, talented, loving and special. Some of us are angry because we have been left behind and because we didn’t get an opportunity to help. Some of us are having feelings of guilt because we didn’t see the signs or we feel like we could have done more. And all of us are asking “why?” How could it have come to this? Why didn’t he ask for help?
Do not anguish yourselves in a vain wish to understand a moment that can never be understood. Wish instead that Mikel knows that he is loved. Do not blame yourselves and do not blame each other. Understand that now Mikel’s painful struggle is over and he may finally find the peace he sought with such effort in life.
Due to the suddeness of this tragedy we will need help in covering the funeral expenses/memorial service. All donations are appreciated.
