Help the Doc: 31 Yrs of Vet Service
Donation protected
Jeff Dentice (Doc) served as a Medic with the 25th Inf. Div. in Vietnam during 1967-68.
Jeff has spent the last 31 years, for and with veterans and their families. He has put his heart and soul into everything he does to support and help all veterans. He spends most of his days working on numerous veterans web sites that he created and maintains, along with countless hours putting together veterans events, such as Vets Day/Family Day at the Union Grove Veterans home. He gathers new clothing donations for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Stand Down, and Homeless Veterans at Cottage 16 at the Union Grove Veterans Home. He meets with veterans returning from deployments, who are having problems from their war time service. Jeff puts together and sends out a monthly Vets events email that he sends out to more than 1,500 veterans in Wisconsin. Jeff proudly serves with the Region 4 UAW Veterans from Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Iowa, who have been supporting veterans from across all 4 states for the past 30 years.
His biggest event is his annual Christmas with the Vets Show at the Zablocki VA Medical Center here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This last Christmas he celebrated his 30th Anniversary hosting and coordinating that event, which brings a little bit of joy and Christmas spirit to those who can't be home with their families during the holiday season. In addition, Jeff puts together the annual Vets Christmas fundraiser that takes place in October at Demarinis Saloon in Muskego, Wisconsin..
Today Jeff needs help repairing or replacing his 2004 Dodge Dakota, which has over 190,000 miles. Of those miles, 160,000 have been used to support veterans and running veteran events here in Wisconsin.
By donating to Jeff, you are not only helping him, but you are helping all of our veterans who count on his support every day.
Every donation is appreciated. Thank you for your support in helping to keep Jeff on the road serving our veterans.
