10km run
Donation protected
I am competing in 2 runs.
1st: 10km run on the 18th of August in Kristiansand Norway. I will be wearing my 7.5kg plate carrier and will do it in the fastest time possible.
2nd: Strongman Challenge 22 september again with the vest. This run is 10km on an island with 30 obstacles.
I want to raise money for 3 charities that need support.
The Refugee Initiative builds homes for refugees who have fled ISIS. They have built a hospital, a school and teach and have activities for kids for free. They do what they can to make a better life for many people. I spent time there last year and have seen first hand the great work they do.
The other charity is Cam's cause. This is a charity set up to offer support to Aussie veterans and their families. It was founded in the name of Cam Baird who was killed in action 22 June 2013. He is an Australian hero that was awarded the nations highest medal / the Victoria Cross. I met some of his team mates in Iraq.
Lastly I am a proud supporter of the Charles Humphrey Keating IV Foundation which is named after a SEAL/surfer who was killed in action on May 3, 2016. His friends and family are awesome. The foundation has been set up in his name to support the families of active SEALs and veterans.
I would really appreciate it if you could help me support these great causes.
Cheers, Adam
