Plumstead Community Law Centre
Donation protected
Plumstead Community Law Centre has been providing free legal advice and help to people across the Borough of Royal Greenwich for more than 33 years.
We help those who wouldn't otherwise have access to confidential, independent, impartial advice because of the costs involved in instructing a solicitor privately.
Every year, more and more people come to us for help.
For many of them we are their last hope.
We never turn away anyone in need, but it's becoming more and more difficult to fund our services due to cuts in Legal Aid.
We desperately need donations now, to maintain our current level of services and to ensure we can take on new cases in the future
100% of the donations we receive will go to delivering frontline services to disadvantaged and vulnerable people in times of need.
We will use the money to train more Volunteer Advisers, to pay rent on our office and to help cover the day to day running costs of providing our services
All donations welcome - however large or small.
Here are examples of what your donation could provide:
£5 would cover the bus/train fares of a volunteer adviser travelling to an outreach advice session
£15 would pay for us to run our telephone advice line for one hour
£30 would enable us to provide a solicitor for a face to face appointment
£50 would cover the costs of preparing a vital appeal letter or submission on behalf of a client
