PHS Varsity Football Team

The Petersburg High School Football is rising!!!  The Crimson Wave rolled with a 7-4 winning season in 2018.  To continue this success, the football
team would like to participate in two summer camps:  Ferrum College June 19-21 and Portsmouth July 23-25.  Can you help send a student-Athlete
to camp?  This fundraising efforts also seeks money to cover the team's Hudl subscription.  To pay for two camps and Hudl, we are hoping to raise
$9000.  any amount helps; details about the cost are provided below.  Thank you for believing in Petersburg High School and providing opportunities for our students to succeed.

Ferrum Team Camp - June 19-21
Cost:  $170 per student and $85 per coach
Participants:  30 Student-Athletes, 4-6 coaches
This is an overnight camp where our team competes against other teams from around the state in drills and controlled scrimmages.  The cost per 
player included three meals per day and boarding in dorm rooms.

Portsmouth Team Camp - July 23-25
Cost: $60 per student
Participants:  30 Student-Athletes, 4-6 coaches
This is a multiday camp.  We will drive down in the afternoon and return home in the evening.  One meal is provided.  Our team competes against 
other teams in controlled scrimmages.


Hudl
Cost: $1,500
This is an internet based software used for several purposes.  It allows us to trade film before games with out opponents for scouting.  It allow players to make highlight films for evaluation by college coaches.  It allows us a platform to review games and practices in order to improve player 
performance.  It allows us to build a digital playbook that our kids can review online.  Also, it allows us to create practice scripts that help the coaches run practice in an orderly and detailed manner.
