Here is Angel Mum Jane own words.....
I am raising money to fund a cuddle cot to be kept at Co op funeral directors,  Newark, in memory of my son, Phoenix Aesir Mann, via Angel Wings.    Phoenix was born too soon at 14 weeks and 1 day on 11th October 2015 after 3 weeks of bleeding. Sadly, hospital neglect lead to his death and other complications.    Phoenix was born smiling, fully formed and the most beautiful baby I have EVER seen.   He was delivered at home, with no hospital intervention (part of the neglect) so he was never kept in hospital. I had no choice but to keep him at home in the fridge before he went to the funeral home. Had a cuddle cot been available in my area, he could have stayed at home in there. Phoenix was my 6th baby loss, I have since lost another 2. Some of those was too small to 'keep' in that way, but others wasn't,  including Phoenix and I would so much have loved to have kept them at home a little while before they was cremated/buried.   Many babies are born too soon every day, others born sleeping, and others born breathing but not able to stay and many of these babies have to be left at hospital and it's heartbreaking to leave them. I would love to give the opportunity for parents in the area to be able to bring their babies home for a few days before their funerals, or to be kept in the cuddle cot at the funeral home. This brings so much comfort and really does help with the grieving process.   This cuddle cot will be in memory of my sleeping baby boy, Phoenix Aesir Mann mainly as Co Op did his funeral, but also in memory of my other sleeping angels.   Fundraising events will be coming up in the near future along with help from a friend of mine, Shelley, who is also a fellow angel mummy and the cuddle cot will be in their memory also xxx Thank you xx
