Pioneer Camp: Sponsor a Camper
Tax deductible
Pioneer Camp is held twice every summer at the National Electronics Museum for children ages 8-10 who are interested in exploring STEM. This year, we’re asking for donations to fund the fees for at least 12 campers. We want as many children to be able to participate as possible and would like to extend the opportunity to sponsor a camper who might not otherwise be able to attend due to their financial situation.
This year’s theme is Lights! Radio! Wavelengths? For an $80 camp fee, campers will spend two full days making their very own Crystal Radio, investigating infrared light, trying out amateur radio with our very own HAM club, and much more. The first camp session will be held July 26-27 and the second session is August 15-16.
