One year in, and the journey continues! Dr. John Francis and Planetwalk Africa are bringing environmental education, climate action, and life-saving telemedicine to underserved communities. Your support empowers students, trains citizen scientists, and delivers vital care where it’s needed most. Join us—every step moves us toward a better future!

In July 2025, Dr. John Francis, the Planetwalker, will resume an extraordinary 6,000-mile walking journey from Cape Town to Cairo to educate children and youth about the interconnectedness of kindness, science, and stewardship of our planet. At the same time, he will be building a cadre of young citizen scientists and future leaders.

Working in partnership with GLOBE, a worldwide science and education program, students will collect scientific data to share with NASA as they learn about kindness, the environment, and Planetwalk Clubs, an upcoming global effort that will amplify children’s voices as they learn to take charge of their future.
