From the beginning, Granny "Rell" raised 4 of her grandchildren until her passing last Tuesday July 6, 2021. Her heart for Nick (16), Jaime "Jay" (15), Nakia "Kia" (13), and Genesis "Gigi" (4) surpassed her being sick throughout the years. During her time of caring for them, she was able to battle throat cancer. In recent months, her cancer came back where she had to overgo radiation and chemo. In her final weeks, she suffered a major stroke. Her strength, combined with her selfless love, even until her last breathe, still managed to put her grandkids first.
