As some of you have heard, our Pop Warner JV (12 & 13yr olds) Football team is on a historic run. This year (11/20) our team will be competing in the Eastern Regional Championship game against the Albany Falcons in Chester Springs, PA. No Montgomery Pop Warner team has competed for the Eastern Region title in the past.
Here is our issue - The game will require an overnight trip for the boys and as the Head Coach of the team I'm reaching out in hopes of raising a few dollars to help the team offset a few of the last minute expenses we will be taking on. Pop Warner does not cover any expenses so we are on our own...
For those of you football families in town, you know first hand how the youth level football programs have been struggling to stay alive. The pipeline is drying up...
For those who attend the High School football games, you know first hand how much pride and spirit our community feels attending the HS game under the "Friday Night Lights"! Our boys would like to keep the Football Pride we exprerience alive by capturing the Pop Warner Eastern Region Championship.
Help us make this an unforgettable exeprience for them and one they can cherish for a lifetime.
Success breeds success...this game is step one in rebuilding the Montgomery Football Pipeline and set the HS up for bigger and better Friday Night Lights....
