Over 50 and still on two wheels in the uk .....

Settle down it may take a while to read, Leading on from a previous post off_ Where everyone was from _ , one comment was there's enough people here to do a relay or word's similar, Any body interested in doing a relay rally within the group ?, As remembrance Sunday approaches I was thinking that The royal British legion puts out all the stops this time off year, And do great work with veterans and there family's along with currently serving members in the armed forces, Topical subject, so how's about a relay round UK / Ireland , Pass a baton or even Mr Ted ?, we receive item and deliver to next person, Simple, It would mean those who wish to take part would meet at least two people from the group, the logistics off it all could be a nightmare but possible with a enough planning, SO I WOULD LIKE TO POPOSE THAT we start the (soon to be annually) very first over 50's relay round great Britain in aid off The royal British legion and as the 11/11 is relevant I hoping to send (at the moment Mr Ted) off on his journeys on the 5.5 off the 5.5 or 5.5/5.5/2017 translated to 15th may 2017, That's giving him apox six months (off hopefully every day a sunny day) to travel before needing to be home for next years remembrance day service,  And before you all start giving me jip about Mr Ted he is only an idea at present and as not been acquired as yet, other view's or comment's greatly received, Nearly two thousand members if we can get a 20% response in the right areas it could be done and also raise a few hundred quid for a very worthwhile cause, Cheers for sticking with it till the end, Sii Hargreaves
