Positive Pebbles Project
Donation protected
I'm on a mission to make the world a kinder place one pebble at a time...
For the last 6 months, I've been painting pebbles with positive, kind and motivational messages and leaving them here and there to be found, kept, or shared by anyone who needs a little motivational boost. My goal is for these pebbles provide a motivational pick-me-up to anybody who needs one, where ever they may be.
Breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and reminding those who suffer that they are not alone is very important. I use the Positive Pebbles project as a channel for this, leaving messages of support for anyone who should need it and addressing the importance of discussing mental health issues freely in society.
As well as painting pebbles, I run pebble-painting workshops with all age groups, where we can create our own pebbles and talk about kindness and what it means to be kind to both others and ourselves, and all the ways we can be kind and supportive to one another and our self.
Having suffered poorly with my own mental health, and been in a dark and lonely place myself for many years, I know hope I can bring colour, light and hop into the lives of others who are going through the same.
I've started this page as resources for workshops and pebble painting can be expensive, but would like to keep on bringing happiness to the world through the Positive Pebble Project!
Cost for materials...
BASE COAT - Individual acrylic paint, 1 tube (lasts approx 20 stones) - £2
VARNISH - Tin of varnish for varnish stones (lasts approx 50 stones) - £5
WRITING - 1 pack of x12 acrylic pens (last approx 100 stones) - £12
BRUSHES - For a pack of 5 brushed (more needed for workshops!) - £2
So even a small donation of £2 can go a really long way!
Please help fund me to continue doing what I love doing and bringing a bit of happiness into people's lives. Thank you for your support and please feel free to follow the Positive Pebble Project on Facebook and Instagram, to what we are to with your donations!
