Hello, my name is Jim and my website is www.potluckshows.org
I focus on creative ways to make music and creative places where people can listen to it for free. I play guitar with my feet and hands simultaneously, share stories, and do songs with audience interaction. I create my own venues outside of bars and clubs so people of all ages can attend shows. I've done hundreds of these gatherings in people's living rooms, museums, schools, zoos, the Couchsurfing HQ in San Francisco, Amazon in Seattle, and many other unique environments.
I'm very passionate about building communities through sharing food and art. While I'm on the road, I spend all of my time organizing potluck shows, promoting and filming local artists, volunteering at schools and organic farms, and teaching music, linux, and open source software.
