Skylar Martin, age 15, was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at UNC Chapel Hill Children's Hospital. Skylar is a freshman at Ashley High School and played football for the JV team. He had just passed his test for his drivers permit and was looking forward to so many things. Skylar has a very long road ahead of him with chemotherapy treatments for the next 3 1/2 years, along with extensive testing and hospital stays. His Mom Jennifer will be traveling back and forth from Wilmington to Chapel Hill. They will have a lot of expenses and I am hoping we can come together to help this family in their time of need with one less thing for them to worry about.
