Noah Rabbani is a 15 year old Canadian-Pakistani teenager. He is the second eldest son of 8 siblings. Noah is an exceptional student who has won numerous academic awards including the Kiwanis Youth Recognition Award, and is praised by students and teachers.
On Saturday November 26, Noah was brutally attacked by two white men who stole his backpack and beat him severely with a baseball bat. The attack occurred around 12am near Rymal Road East and Fletcher Road, while he was walking home from a friend’s house.
Noah is currently in ICU with extensive injuries to his brain, jaw, limbs and spine.
On Wednesday, November 30th, Noah underwent surgery to remove a blood clot on his brain and to repair damage to his jaw and teeth. The surgery on his skull to repair the damages, was successful. Sadly, Noah still does not have full movement on the right side of his body.
Noah's doctors indicate that his recovery will be a long process, and he will require extensive dental surgery, physiotherapy, learning aids, house aids, tutoring, etc. Many of these expenses are not covered by OHIP and his family will have to pay out of pocket.
The family would be grateful for any financial support they can receive to ensure Noah's full recovery.
Thank you.
