Let's help Alex

He is Alex. A smart little boy from Romania who loves to play, to learn and to cherish life. At the age of two he was diagnosed with leukemia. A merciless disease. The time passed and Alex looked like he would get better. Now, 7 years after the dark moment of the diagnosis, the cancer was found again. Ever since he was a little kid, his health was the biggest problem and it stopped him from doing many things that might seem natural for other kids of his age.
Around the age of two, he began to show a very pale complexion. His parents took him immediately to the doctor and shortly after they found out that Alex had leukemia. Months of treatment, love and prayers saved him. For a while, at least.
Each year, in June, the family runs blood tests, to see how things are evolving. This year, Alex's parents felt that something was not alright and they went to the doctor's appointment earlier. The results came out perfect, with Alex feeling no different than he usually feels. Except that a specific analysis showed 10% cancer cells.
So, in June 2015, the parents' entire universe collapsed and the fear that they might lose their only child became greater, unbearable.
A couple of days ago, Alex spent Children’s Day in a hospital in Germany, running tests to see how leukemia was evolving. Not something that a child should experience. His currently treatment is weakening him day after day.
His family struggled to cover for all the costs. They managed to do that until now. With Alex’s situation getting worse, they had no choice but to start gathering money for a stem cells transplant. He needs 174.000 euros if - a big IF - everything goes alright. 114.00 euros for the treatment and the rest for the stem cells transplant. If things don't go as expected, the amount will increase.
Alex. Curly hair, big eyes, a sharp mind. All gifts from God. Let's keep leukemia out of this list. Let’s help this little soul. Let’s give him a chance to life.
He is always in our prayers. We want to see him smile again
