I have created this fundraiser as a means to help a very dear friend of mind who is enduring something that no mother should ever have to endure.  Her daughter, Aniya, was admitted into the hospital last week with aplstic anemia and has since underwent brain surgery.  Aniya is currently on life support fighting for her life, when she should be out enjoying her life as a teenager, attending her prom on Saturday, and completing high school.    UPDATE:  On Tuesday April 25 Aniya passed into the Lord's loving arms.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of grieving.

My friend is a single mother of 2 teenagers and her only income source is from the all natural hair salon she owns in Greensboro.  She has been at her daughter's bedside since she was admitted into the hospital, which means they have no money coming in to pay for everyday bills, let alone anything else.  This family is the most amazing, caring, and generous family I have ever known and it would mean the world to me (and them, I am sure) if we can raise enough money and prayers to get them thru this terribly difficult time as they say goodbye to this beautiful angel.  Thank you so much for your help and please say a prayer for Shennan, Aniya, Tyler, and the entire family!
