Help Princess Get A New Work Laptop

Background: I'm a 25 year old mentally ill woman living with schizoaffective disorder - bipolar type, panic disorder with agoraphobia, and chronic post-traumatic stress disorder (I'm including proof~).

The unfortunate result of these mental illnesses is that it's very difficult for me to maintain "ordinary" jobs. So! I work from home, mostly freelancing. (Video/audio editing, writing and editing, transcribing, and the occassional advisory role). This requires heavy use of a computer that's decently powerful.

My current (broken) computer, one that I loved very much, was a Toshiba Satellite L50-C that broke at the hinges in a way that it can't be repaired (I'll include photos~)




I need to be able to work so I can pay my bills. So I need to replace this computer as soon as possible~.

I've already started looking at computers and I've determined how much I need:

- $1200 for a computer matching my old one's specs
- $200 for a 3 year warranty plan with damage protection
- $400 for recovery from the hard drive
- $30 just to make up for WePay
