If you're on this page then we're hoping you have heard about the wonderful gathering in August of African-American/Black families in local private schools at Pan Pacific Park. It was special and we are doing it again on Sunday, September 30 and we need your help. Now, don't misunderstand, if this isn't your thing or you can't swing it, but you still want to be a part of the community, then join us. Please don't be deterred by the notion of having to do anything other than show up!

But it does take a village -- If you want to pitch in and help cover the cost of providing food, beverages, and activities for children, then please support this GoFundMe campaign. Imagine if each family made a suggested donation of $25 or if those that can swing more, gave more, knowing that some families simply aren't in the position to contribute monetarily.

We are the process of applying for nonprofit status so that future gifts will be tax deductible. Until then, we're hoping the community will help pitch in to make the September gathering as memorable as August.

We are still confirming the location but in the meantime, we need support to help cover the following:

Park Permit/Ampitheater Space: $250
Food Truck Park Permit: $250
Food Truck: TBD (estimated $800)
Park Day Staff (since on Sunday): $198 
Event Insurance: TBD 
Game Truck Park Permit: TBD 
Game Truck: $550
Fire Dept Requirement: TBD 
Plot Rendering: TBD 

**Note**
1. Please know that GoFundMe suggests a 15% tip when you check out. If you do not deselect that option, you will be charged an additional 15% which goes to GoFundMe, not PSV. 
2. If we are fortunate enough to go over the goal, the money will roll over towards supporting next month's gathering. A full accounting of monies spent on the events will always be available after the event to ensure you know where your donation is going.
