Project Paper Bag

Project Paper Bag was founded in 2015 by Sandra Garcia and Nathalia Castellon.
It’s sole mission is to promote the welfare of the homeless communities in Los Angeles, California. What started out as a couple of friends making a handful of sandwiches out of Sandra’s living room has turned into hundreds of volunteers delivering thousands of meals and hygiene products on a monthly basis to various parts of Downtown LA, primarily focusing on the overpopulated communities of Skid Row as well as Union Rescue Mission.
In addition to monthly events in Los Angeles, Project Paper Bag has branched out and now services multiple cities such as San Diego, Miami, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and more to come.
Project Paper Bag is as strong as its ever been, but due to COVID-19, the organization has had to temporarily halt monthly gatherings and since started offering a ‘Curbside Project' where volunteers make sandwiches from the safety and comfort of their own homes.
“Curbside Project has been such an amazing experience during these trying times. However, we cannot wait to get back to our monthly gatherings where we’ve built such an amazing community of volunteers over the last 6 years.” - Sandra & Natt.
Every donation is greatly appreciated and will go towards the care packages we provide for our friends in need.
Thank you so much.
