Dancing Around the World

My name is Matt Bray and I run the YouTube channel ProjectOneLife. Last year I spent 2 months driving around America and Canada filming a dance video called "100 People of Dance." I did the same dance routine with 100 different strangers I meet along the way and had an absolute blast.


I didn't think I was ever going to top 100 People of Dance so I never planned on making a sequel, until I found an incredible song and came up with some creative ideas to really make this next video unique. So for the last six months I have been planning and working on the new dance video. I have the routine done and I have a bunch of interesting places I would love to travel to and dance at. I knew going into this project that it wasn't going to be cheap and that I was going to need to save up some money. So for months I have been working as much as I could and saving as much as I could. I am going all-in with this project, so I will be spending every cent I have in order to see this project through.

Now I did save up a good amount of money, just not enough for me to properly create the vision I have in mind. So I started this GoFundMe page in order to raise that extra bit of money I will need to travel around the world. This is literally the absolute minimum I need in order to finish this project, I didn't want to ask for anymore then I needed. I will be saving and penny pinching as much as possible throughout the trip. I will be couchsurfing and staying with friends and family so I can avoid paying the cost of hotels. I will also be filming as much as possible on the trip so I can put together a behind-the-scenes video as well as create some interesting videos for my channel ProjectOneLife.

All the money raised will be used towards travel cost, and if there is any sort of camera damage, I can get the equipment fixed or replaced, however, I don't think that will be a problem considering I am very careful with my equipment.

My friend Jack is a pilot and he will be helping me access some extremely cheap flights. He is a BIG reason this trip will be possible without any outside sponsors and I can keep full creative control on this project. 

I hope to be filming as soon as January in 2018, so if we can raise the amount I need, I will be getting to work right away. This is a passion project and a video I really believe in, so every single donation means an enormous amount to me. I really appreciate anyone who helps support this project in anyway, this will be a team effort to get done, but I am excited to dance with all you incredible strangers and grateful to have this opportunity!
