Move With Me - Refugee Campaign

Hey there - friends, family and beyond,

So I'm sure you may be aware of what I am up to considering I've bombarded my Facebook account with clips and pics of my travels, but just an update:

I previously decided to embark on one of life's' rite of passage. A Euro trip!

And indeed it's lived up to its standard, however, it is quite short-lived.

See, I had planned for Christmas markets in Berlin and history revealed in Krakow. Parties in Budapest and love in Italia.

Yet somehow, fate totally switched gears for me.

I got wind that Turkey was such a magical place so I followed my gut and it took me firstly to Istanbul, then all throughout.

However, I am not the only traveller in Turkey. In fact, there are thousands and thousands of other travellers.

And these travellers caused for me a change of heart.

The refugees.

These refugees and I have spent hours on the street. Them talking, sharing their stories of their harsh life back home, their life threatening journey, and their heart breaking trial in refugee camps.

I am in Budapest right now. I am trying to continue that Euro style backpack life I had planned. But I just can't.

My thoughts, my heart, my mind and my gut are sidetracked. So I now follow this new path.

Therefore; this is where I draw the line.  There is when I just go for it.

I am ready to take full control of my own project to help and bring medicine, warm clothing, life jackets, food, shelter and education to the children and families in need in refugee camps. The refugees of the world. Of this war.

I plan  to visit these refugee camps all around me and with your help I can bring everything that I can. I hope to provide warmth, shelter, and even education and fun to the lives of these forgotten children.

I have already began contacting many organizations and refugee shelters and camps across Turkey and Greece.

I am getting in contact, thanks to some family members, with specific pediatrician's abroad already embarking on their own projects to show me the ropes specifically regarding bringing these necessary materials to the camps and finding exactly where I need to be.

I will put all that I have been preaching into practice.

 I will go as far as I can to help. I have already spent all the money I have and all of the recourses I had to do my part. I know I can continue, I just need you guys. All of these refugees do.

So.

I am able to pay for my own accommodations and food. So all donations will 100% go from the GoFundMe campaign directly to each person in need that I encounter.

Go fund me. Put your trust in me. Believe in me that I can do this. I know it is so hard to find ways to help being so far away from the action but you now have me there.

I will use all my efforts to help each child and person that I encounter with your donations.

I will document it all. Daily, or as much as possible, I will post all that has been purchased, all that's been given. You will be able to see how far your donation went.

I am a registered Early Childhood Educator, I recently received my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification. I am so strong willed, ambitious, and a humans right activist. I have this capability of putting others before me and I fully intend to use this power of mine until it burns out.

And honestly I don’t know what more to tell you other than about my burning heart that is just needing to be with these kids.
