Venessa's cancer medical fund
Donation protected
Around December of 2015 Venessa had been having problems doing everyday tasks (working, cleaning, driving, and even walking). This went on for almost a year. In early September she had gone to a doctor to have an MRI where they found a 14 cm tumor on her spine. As hopeful as we were that it would be benign, we were not so lucky. For the past few months she has been undergoing sugeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. The hospital bills pile up fast. She has had a lot of support from friends and family, which we are more than grateful for. I, her daughter, have made this gofundme to help take some of the stress of money off of her so that her energy can go towards getting better. It is set up where any donated money goes straight to her. Anything helps and I know money is tight for most of us, especially this time of year. The main thing I ask is that you all continue to keep her in your prayers, and if willing and able donate what you can. I will continue to keep everyone updated via Facebook, telephone, and this GoFundMe page. Thank you to everyone in advance for everything. And a huge thank you to the ones who have already supported her in some way. It means so much to her to know she has the support of loved ones. We appreciate it more than we could ever say. I would love to specify all the names of the people who have supported her and maybe soon I can. But, as of right now the main people I want to thank is her partner Jon, and my partner Brian. They are the foundation that gives my mom and I the most hope. Jon will also keep you updated on here, along with my mother. She is a fighter, the toughest woman I've ever met. I'm lucky to call her Mom. Thanks to all of you, again. -Brittany
