Puerto Rico Hurricane Disaster Fund
Donation protected
“Hurricane Maria completely devastated the island. There are animals that are suffering, as they have no food or water and no medical care.” stated Robert Misseri, founder and president of Guardians of Rescue.
Please help Longwood Vet by donating to this important cause.
Donations will be given to "The Sato Project" and "Island Dog". "The Sato Project" works directly in the area of Puerto Rico that recieved a direct hit from the hurricane, and particularly an area where abandoned dogs are dropped off known as "Dead Dog Beach". Whereas, Island Dog gears it's attention on spay and neuter programs throughout the island.
Longwood Veterinary Center will match all donations, up to $1,000. They have also personally contributed a large amount of medical supplies that have been flown down with a group from the University of Pennsylvania.
This will be a long journey and every bit helps!
