Dear Friends & Family -
Five years ago I began my fitness journey. After struggling with weight gain and obesity my whole life, I decided that I I needed to make a change in my life. I was 417 pounds at age 17, I was in a race against the clock to lose the weight. At the time, I was pre-diabetic and knew that I would not have a long life if I didn’t start to make a change. One day the switch finally flipped for me. I began to take control, started working out at Planet Fitness and began my fitness journey towards better health and a new life.
During this transformation I lost over 230lbs in three years by working out 5 days a week and by making small changes in my diet. After losing all of the weight and seeing how much this journey has done for me, I decided to create a lifestyle around becoming a trainer, sharing my story, inspiring others and helping others to experience what I did when I began this journey.
Now I need your help to help me reach my dreams! After losing all of the weight, I have been left with a lot of hanging loose skin. After weight training for two years I still struggle with my stomach area and my chest area every day. When working out, or doing any physical activity, I have a lot of skin irritation and rashes from running and working out. This has limited my mobility with my running and training at the gym. This has also prevented me from reaching a lot of my own personal goals and the way that I had envisioned my body after major weight loss.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards covering the costs for me to get this procedure done.
