Dancing is Depressing

“Dancing is Depressing” follows Archie, a young 18 year old who struggles with his confidence,  After finishing college and quitting his job his Dad (Martin) offers him a place at his business; an indoor kids play area called “The Fun-zone”. 

Although the other characters see and hear him as normal, we as the audience see him differently as through the lens of the camera he appears wearing a paper bag on his head, symbolic of the lack of confidence he has, in addition doesn’t speak to any of the other characters through dialogue, instead we are lead through the film via his narration.

This is a coming of age film with a surrealist twist, full of comedy as well as heartfelt moments.

The money will be used to hire locations and props as well as cover any expenses in the making of the film. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
