Christina's Kidney Medical Fund
Donation protected
Christina is a hardworking 30 year old single gal. She works a full time job as a sales coordinator for a Hilton entity. She also has a part time job a couple nights a week.
In June 2017 Christina went to the doctor thinking she had a urinary tract infection, but it turned out she was in end stage kidney failure.
(She was born with a single pelvic kidney, and has had multiple procedures throughout her life in relation to her kidney.) In June she spent a week in the hospital receiving multiple treatments, including dialysis.
While in the hospital she was told she needed a kidney transplant.
Currently Christina is in dialysis 3 times a week, a total of 12 hours. Unfortunately she did not have insurance coverage because the cost of premiums where too costly for her at the time. During this time without insurance she has accumulated over $100,000 in medical bills.
She has insurance coverage now, and is seeking a surgeon and a transplant hospital. She will have to pay the precoverage medical bills plus premiums, out of pocket fees, doctor bills, and prescriptions. She will also have loss of income during transplant and recovery which will be overwhelming. Any help financially would be so appreciated to reduce the stress of this medical emergency. Thank you in advance for your help and your prayers!
