Help Laura Fight Cancer!

Our mother has stage 4 uterine cancer. That feels so weird to say. It was so sudden and came out of nowhere. When we first found out, my sisters and I had different reactions. Laurie cried. Rachel was sick to her stomach. And I was in denial, maybe I still am. But we all thought the same thing. Our mother will get through this and we will support her every step of the way.

She is recovering from her extensive surgery, which will take about 6 weeks. After that comes chemotherapy. We honestly don’t know what to expect. We do know its going to get worse before it gets better. My mom will have to go through the most emotional and physical journey she’s ever been on.

During recovery and chemo treatments, she will be out of work. And like many of us, she doesn’t have a savings or emergency fund. Though my sisters and I will be taking care of her and doing what we can, we can't afford it all. She needs help with her medical bills, rent, utilities, hair prosthesis and the cost of everyday living. So, if your able to donate it would be greatly appreciated. Any amount would help!
