Letter from the Editor
It all started with an idea four years ago. I was just getting into reporting and writing, but always said to myself, "What if there was an independent website dedicated to covering the Orlando soccer scene?"
So the idea became a reality. The Orlando Soccer Journal started as a soccer blog. But soon it became a soccer news website covering much more than the games. I wanted to tell the great Orlando City story.
I've been fortunate to write for various soccer websites like SBI Soccer, Top Drawer and the Orlando Sentinel. I've also been fortunate to learn from some of the best soccer writers in Orlando and across the nation. So this my gift to you, the reader: Independent, fair and honest reporting.
2017 will be my sixth season covering the Lions. I've witnessed the ups and downs, but the story is far from over. My ultimate hope is to make sure the OSJ serves as a force of good.
It's been a pleasure serving the Central Florida community. We have a lot of work to do, and I'm really proud of this project. I want our content to be free to our readers, so we'll greatly appreciate your help just by donating to our GoFundMe account. Every dollar counts. Our end goal is to have the proper equipment to produce top-notch content.
Thank you so much for the continued support, and keep visiting us at OSJSoccer.com
