Pray for Lynleigh
Pray for Lynleigh
Lynleigh Grace Wynne, daughter of Chris and Heather, was born premature at 32 weeks on September 21, 2015 weighing in at 2 lbs. and measuring 14.5 inches.
Lynleigh may be tiny, but she is strong and continues to fight.
Here is her journey:
Shortly after her birth, doctors discovered that Lynleigh was suffering from PDA, a condition in which the blood vessel that allows blood flow to go around Lynleigh's lungs did not close.
Lynleigh's medical team of doctors in Albany decided that Lynleigh needed to be rushed to The Children's Hospital of Georgia in Augusta. When Lynleigh arrived in August, her new medical team of specialist began to run tests.
After Heather's release from the hospital, she and Chris rushed to be with their princess in Augusta but to only hear of a very heartbreaking diagnosis.
Lynleigh's lab results detected a multiple chromosome abnormality that is extremely rare. Lynleigh is fighting her battle with Triploidy which means she has an additional chromosone in 13, 18, and 21 cells as well as Trisomy X, an additional X chromosome.
At this time, there is no cure for Lynleigh's condition, but we want to continue praying for her daily strength and growth.
Lynleigh continues to fight and seems to get stronger and stronger especially after her skin to skin contact with her mommy and daddy.
In addition to prayers, we are asking for donations to help with medical and traveling expenses. At this time the doctors cannot give us any more answers and it is unknown how long baby Lynleigh will be in their care, but any and all donations are GREATLY appreciated.
CONTINUE TO PRAY for OUR LITTLE FIGHTER!
