Christian Sheehan Memorial Fund

Donation protected
On Saturday, March 26th, a star went dark in the Champaign Park District lifeguard and aquatics family.
Christian Robert Sheehan worked for the park district for 5 years and if you were to cut him, he would bleed Sholem Aquatic Center. He was a remarkable human being who touched so many lives during his time here at the park district.

To honor Christian - I have been in contact with the HR department and operations team for a Tree Memorial and Plaque that would hopefully go right out front at Sholem, to honor our favorite guard. The park district has graciously offered to cover whatever expenses we do not cover with donations - but I have a feeling we wont need much help with how many peoples lives Christian touched.

I would like this to be a gift to the Sheehan family from all of his coworkers at the park district - so please, even if you only worked with him for one summer, consider making a donation because I guarantee you no one made you feel more welcome at the pool than Christian Sheehan did.

UPDATE:

We have surpassed our goal... And we are going to keep going.

Any further donations will go towards a Scholarship for the Champaign Park District, Christian's casket, and the bus that will take his friends and co-workers to the funeral.

So please, keep sharing. Keep donating. Let's honor this bright life that was taken from us too soon.
