Hello my name is Samantha Burzak. Our Mom, Jan Burzak, continues her fight for life battling Acute Myleoid Leukemia (AML).
Cancer sucks ... it had already attacked our entire family threatening to take our precious. Mom was in remission for almost a year and my family began to recover and heal from the dreadful ordeal that began in early 2014.
August 7, 2015. The day the devastating call came ... it had returned. We are once again at war and as before we will spare no expense to save Jan's life and return her to where she belongs ... at home happy and healthy.
Mom is strong of mind and spirit even as her body is under attack. Already hospitalized for a total of 18 weeks and 7 rounds of toxic chemo she still faces a bone marrow stem cell transplant and another 8-10 weeks away from home.
Family and friends have supported our quest for cure from the beginning and we are eternally grateful. We now extend ourselves to all and ask for your love, prayer and support in our time of greatest need.
Our promise is to pay your kindnesses forward to ease another family's pain and burden. Thank you to all for your generosity.
