Quint'n "Q" Perry's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Quint'n, is a vibrant, fun-loving 27-year old. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., and 2014 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Q is also an avid dog lover. He spends most of his days working as a waiter at Chilli's Bar and Grill in Lafayette, LA and spends his evenings at the park with his dog "Duece" or visiting with friends & family nearby.
Three weeks ago, while going about his regular routine, he began experiencing shortness of breath. He decided to call it an early evening at work and try to get some rest. Later that evening he could not catch his breath at all and knew something was terribly wrong. Immediately, he headed to the nearest emergency room.
Q and his family learned that day, he has a condition called Cardiomyopathy. It is a disease that makes it hard for the heart to deliver blood to the body. He was told that his heart isn't functioning at full capacity and it’s time for a new one. He is currently on the top of the donor list and will be in ICU in New Orleans, LA until the perfect match is found……and it could be any day y'all!! So we are asking for POSITIVE thoughts and a little help.
This is where you come in... the process to receive a heart transplant is not only very difficult emotionally and physically, but also financially. There's power in numbers when it comes to prayers, love, encouragement, and financial support. Every prayer gives hope and comfort, every encouraging message touches the heart, and every financial contribution is so greatly appreciated. Each $1, $5, $10 donation, or more, will take a big portion of Q's stress and uncertainty away.
According to the doctors, the average expenses for the first year of treatment after a transplant can be about $500,000 or more! Once he receives a heart transplant, he will still need to take medication for the rest of his life to maintain optimum health.
The financial burden of medical costs not covered by insurance, moving expenses, and living expenses will be extensive. Any help is greatly appreciated.
We thank you in advance for your prayers, love, and support.
