DIY Clemente Skate Park
Donation protected
6 years ago the city of Grand Rapids, MI donated the abandoned basketball courts of Clemente park to the skateboarders of the area to transform it into our own "do it yourself" skatepark. Since then, the entire skateboarding community has chipped in to build many different obstacles such as banks, quarterpipes, rails, and boxes.
This year alone, we have plans to build more than we ever have in the entire 6 years of the skateparks existence combined. Our plans consist of an entire bowl section where the 30 foot quarterpipe exists, different size ledges on top of the bank we previously built, and many smaller obstacles in the box section.
We'd appreciate any and all donations provided to aid in all of the builds we have planned for this year. All donations will go straight to the purchase of concrete for pours and wood for framing. Please visit us online at www.clementeskatepark.org or visit the skatepark at the intersection of Godfrey and B street in Grand Rapids, MI to learn more about our mission and passion. Thanks to everyone for making this skatepark happen!!
