Wheelchair Assessable Van

Mom (Avis Hill Rose) had a stroke 4 years ago and we have to use a company called MTM to go to the Doctors it takes 4-5 hours round trip. They have always allowed myself and an Aide to travel with her. This week they will only allow me to go. Mom is a two person assist which means the Aide will have to follow in her car. These trips leave Mom tired, sick and in pain. If I had my own van I could do it in less than one. If we go shopping or out to lunch it takes a minimum of 3 hours and we have to be done my 3 pm. I cannot take Mom to visit friends or family or out of the city limits.  If We had our own van I could take her on short trips and maybe the Senior Center once in a while.  She was a very social and active person before the stroke and is now depressed and lonely.  Getting out more would do her a world of good.

I have found a van for $10,000 and have reduced my fund request to that amount. Please share with all who might know Mom and help her.  Thanks!
