Help a Navy Vet find a home

I am a U.S. Navy Veteran who currently lives in a shelter in New York, NY and I am humbly seeking the help of others. I was featured in a video by Spectrum (Formerly Time Warner Cable) in April of 2016 allowing me to tell me story about being homeless for 10 years to finally having an apartment to call my home and a job with Spectrum. Since this video was made however, I have had serious health issues with diabetes which has affected my ability to go back to work. I am in the process of applying for disability from the VA as well as Social Security but I do not receive any income from any other source. I have applied for public assistance and that situation is pending however I have been approved for a housing voucher to try and locate an apartment or a room in the city. So I am seeking assistance with obtaining expenses for me to locate an apartment as well as for me to get back to work because I honestly would like to work and I have been medically cleared to do so. I am asking please help this veteran find a home and to be able to once again be able to return to work and be a productive member of society.
