The entire ESI family was deeply shaken when we received news that one our beloved family members, Tony Ung, had suddenly passed away on May 9, 2018.
Tony was a wonderful person who always had a smile on his face. You could count on him to do an excellent job at anything he was asked to do. He was faithful and approached his job with a "let's get it done" attitude! Not only was Tony an outstanding Supervisor, he was also an outstanding friend and person. He always displayed a friendly and respectful attitude towards everyone he met.
Tony is survived by his loving wife Suwannee and his two children, Derek and Sandy. His beloved wife, Suwannee, traveled with Tony and was by his side to the very end. Where Tony was, Suwannee was. They were not only a married couple, they were each other's best friend. Tony was from Cambodia, and Suwannee was from Thailand. Tony always talked about working hard, and doing all he could to provide the very best he could for his family. It was his dream to see his two children grow up in America, and go to college. His son, Derek, has just completed his first year in college, and Sandy is now 12. Tony sacrificed so much to give his family the life he longed to see them have. He never complained about the sacrifice, he never complained about the hard work, nor the long hours of travel. When you asked him about the sacrifices he made in order to give his family all that he could he would say, "it does not matter, I do it all for them!" What a special man he was!
Anytime you asked Tony how his kids were doing, a big smile would come across his face, and he would begin to tell you all about their accomplishments. He was a proud daddy for sure!
Although Tony is gone, his dreams do not have to die! In fact, we can make sure his dreams live on. As Tony's ESI family, we invite you to partner with us, by picking up Tony's dreams and carrying them to the finish line "for him". We can do this by donating whatever amount is placed on your heart!
