Raising money for BC Cancer Agency

Donation protected

Good Day, my name is Fiona Borland. I'm a member of the Canadian Forces, the United Way Rep for my unit, and as some of you know, and others are just finding out, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and have recently begun Chemotherapy. In order to support my journey, my Commanding Officer, LCdr Judith Harlock, has offered to shave her head bald,(in what we are now referring to as, "Operation Chrome Dome") if I can raise $3000 before 15 December 2016.
The money will be donated to the BC Cancer Agency at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, here in Victoria, where I receive my treatment. For anyone who has ever gone through the fight against cancer, or had a friend or loved one battle the disease, you can understand how scary and overwhelming the diagnosis, testing and treatment can be. The staff and volunteers at the BC Cancer Agency, work extremely hard to create a caring and compassionate environment.
This donation, will be part of our NDWCC (United Way Campaign), but will be raised separately from other events we have held.
Please help me raise this money so that others, like me, can continue to receive such amazing care. Thank you so much for supporting this journey.
