Help Madeline Spolin's Soccer Team!

Hi Everyone! I need your help with my soccer team!
As many of you know, I am a teacher at Raleigh Egypt High school with the Teach for America program in North Memphis, Tennessee. I am also finishing my second year of coaching the girl’s high school soccer team and this year I was asked to coach the boys as well. Raleigh Egypt is located in in a high poverty area, as nearly 80% of students qualify for free and reduced lunch programs. For many of them, soccer is their only escape from very tough home life situations.
Soccer, and sports in general, give my students an incredible way to learn discipline, teamwork, community, and the importance of hard work. These values have emerged throughout my tenure with the girls team: I have lead the girls soccer team to 2nd place in our league for two years in a row, and have taken them to college soccer games, hosted celebratory banquets and more. I also grew girls team membership by over 50%. Now, I hope to do the same for my first year coaching the boys.
Unfortunately, the boy’s team does not have uniforms. The uniforms are essential; without uniforms we would be barred from league play. The school simply has no money for this!
I am asking your help through this GoFundMe campaign to help purchase boy’s uniforms, travel to the games and other supporting events. I need to raise nearly $2,000 for both home and away uniforms and these other activities including busses to games, and won’t be able to do it without outside help.
Can I count on your to help and support me with this? Any donation goes towards giving the Raleigh Egypt Boys soccer team a successful season, full of learning, growth and hope. Here is a picture of me with last year’s girls team; they love to compete!
Thank you and Go Pharoahs!
