Rashod Ollison, an award-winning journalist and brilliant essayist, has suffered a medical set-back.

Rashod has been a reporter at The Virginian-Pilot for the past eight years, primarily covering entertainment. He also has worked for the Dallas Morning News, Philadelphia Inquirer, Journal News (Westchester, N.Y.) and Baltimore Sun.

Rashod's sense of humor in the newsroom and at staff gatherings is very much missed. His family is traveling from Arkansas (through Hurricane Michael). This fund is set up to help defray their costs and for Rashod's continued needs.
