Rally for Ratt
Donation protected
Richard “Ratt” Kennedy has been leading the fight against ALS for the past 20 years, after losing both his father and youngest brother to this deadly disease. He is the president of the Angel Fund; his alliance with top ALS researcher Dr. Robert Brown is helping bring us closer than ever to finding a cure. With over 30 years of experience as a physical therapist, Ratt has also provided countless hours to treating and counseling ALS patients and their families.
In the most tragic twist of irony, Ratt has been diagnosed with ALS himself. If there was ever an example of the unfairness of life, this would be it. This man, who has given his time and energy selflessly to helping those with ALS, is now facing the same disease. And now he needs our help.
Ratt and his wife Wendy have raised 4 incredible children together. He has been a pillar of strength to Wendy, who recently underwent open heart surgery. He has been an athlete for his entire life, competing in the Ironman triathalon, as well as running the Boston Marathon for the past 30 years. He is a great brother, uncle, coach, teacher, and friend.
His tireless dedication to the research and treatment of this horrific disease has been motivated purely by the satisfaction he gets from helping others. He would never ask for our help; however, if ever there was a time to help Ratt and his family, this is it. Ratt will exhaust his savings paying for experimental treatments. He will no longer be able to do the job he has loved so much. It is now time for us to RALLY FOR RATT!!!!!
