Rathmullan Community First Response
Donation protected
Rathmullan Community First Response is a group of over 30 local volunteers who are trained to provide emergency CPR and defibrillation in the event of a cardiac arrest (heart attack) in the Rathmullan area. They will attend as many calls as possible before the ambulance arrive and provide potentially life saving treatment. We need your help to fund training and equipment for use in Rathmullan.

How does it work?
If a heart attack happens in Rathmullan – someone calls 999, an ambulance is dispatched. Meanwhile a local first responder is contacted by the ambulance centre.
Minimum ambulance response time is approx. 25 minutes to Rathmullan. First responders live in the community and can be there within a few minutes, providing CPR if needed and using a defibrillator to shock the heart. These life-saving minutes can make all the difference.

Community First Response is a national organisation, which has saved countless lives across the country by training local volunteers.
Your money will be used to fund training of more local volunteers and to purchase more defibrillators for our community.
Your donation could save your life, some one in your family or your neighbour, so please donate what you can.
