Rats Destroyed My Car and Kids Belongings

The LRT has been causing a rat problem throughout the city. The rats have made a home outside of my house and among lots of people down my road. They have managed to chew through my ventilation system and destroyed it along with my car seats, my daughters car seat, a lot of her belongings. I am a single mother and I am just trying to get enough money toget a new car and buy her a new car seat, and the other stuff that got ruined.  It was terrifying when I first realized they had gotten into my car because I seen one crawling on the seat towards my baby while I was driving. It was very emotional. I've tried to get the city's attention but they wont help. I can only do so much. Any help or donations would be much appreciated..
Any left over money will be put towards my daughter and maintaining the problem around my house.
