Hi, I'm Scout Hansen, an artist and filmmaker living in Berlin since 2018. I began production on Ratte mal! (my debut feature) in 2022 – first crowdfunding 2000€ and filming the first 20 minutes with pure community support and passion – and I'm now ready to produce this film like it's meant to be, as a serious film project with a team being paid fair wages.

This film is a comedy musical inspired by the shared Berlin and "coming of age" experience. Seeing beauty in the chaos and the humanity in the growing pains.

Every single person in this project is queer and currently an active part of Berlin's cultural scene. Everyone comes from different countries across the world. And everyone is an independent struggling artist navigating a post-capitalist landscape.

We have 60 minutes left to produce. The script and songs are there, the energy is present, and the time is right to bring this project to fruition.
